Hard to believe we have just 8 weeks left until Baby Ernie arrives! There is sooo much to do!!! ...like get Ernie's room ready??!!! (ask my sister-in-law Brooke about the nightmares she's had!) We are living in a serious mess... Our first project was to take down the huge tree (see below)...good thing we hired someone to do that! It took the tree guy twice as much time as initially expected and then my dad, brother's, Kyle and I hauled about 11 loads of ground-stump to the compost....it was a lot of work! We are making progress though! At this point, we have the garage partially built and our back room partially torn apart.... A few weeks ago, Kyle got a bit over-zealous and starting ripping out the windows in the back room only to find out that the whole structural support was rotting and ready to collapse...good thing we figure that out! We now have the new windows in, but need to get the insulation, sheetrock, and carpet in. Then it's onto the garage...we have the concrete in and the framing up...we just need a roof! Once we finish that, it's time to START Ernie's room. Let's just hope we can get our projects done in 8 weeks....and hope the baby doesn't arrive too early!
On some fun notes, we had two weddings this weekend. D and Joe got married on Friday! It was beautiful! Check out the pics of the three pregger ladies! Martina is due in August and Ryerse is scheduled for a C-section this coming Friday!!!!!
On Saturday, Kyle's college friend 'Bus' got married. We only made it to the reception/dance because Kyle was out of town on business.....
